Service Description
Prerequisites: In order to qualify for licensing as a real estate broker, an applicant must be at least 20 years of age, three types of acceptable experience are two years as a licensed real estate salesperson and the accumulation of 3, 500 points; three years of experience in the general real estate field (e.g., buying and selling your own property, managing property owned by your employer) and the accumulation of 5, 250 points; and combined experience that includes work as a salesperson and general real estate activity, as well as the accumulation of 5, 250 points, have satisfactorily completed both the qualifying salesperson course of 75 hours and an additional 45-hour real estate broker course as approved by the Secretary of State, and have passed a qualifying examination administered by the Department of State.
